The vibrant celebration of Solung Festival 2025 was held at Yingkiong with great enthusiasm, marking the spirit of identity, culture, and unity of the Adi community.
Minister of Civil Aviation, Urban Development & Land Management, Balo Raja, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Minister extended his greetings to the people and highlighted the cultural, social, and spiritual significance of Solung Festival, which embodies nature, prosperity, well being of mankind and peace.
Addressing the gathering, Balo Raja lauded the community for preserving their rich traditions while embracing development and modernity. He also released Solung Souvenir. Earlier, he participated in the 'Taaku Taabat' Ceremony at general ground followed by Solung Anthem sung by Donyi Polo Cultural team, Yingkiong.
The event featured traditional rituals, folk dances, songs, and community feasts, reflecting the collective joy and cultural pride of the people.
