RUKSIN, 24 Aug: A retail outlet (petrol and diesel) of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) in the name of M/s Bomdo Filling Station was ceremonially opened at Leku near Ruksin town in East Siang district on Sunday.
The oil depot is owned by a young entrepreneur of Obuk Panyang of Ruksin and his sons and it is set up alongside the National Highway- 515.
Opening the oil depot in presence of a host of government officers and other dignitaries, Arunachal Pradesh MInister for Panchayatiraj and Rural Development, Ojing Tasing said the central government’s ‘start up initiative’ is encouraging young entrepreneurs to take up new business including oil outlets. He said that opening an oil depot earlier was a very difficult task, but the BJP-led central and state government have made the tasks easy and affordable for marginal businessmen. Tasing urged local people to encourage young entrepreneurs to run their own business establishments in a swift manner.
The minister also recalled various developmental initiatives taken by the Pema Khandu led state government such as BG railway, establishment of medical college and urban development projects at Pasighat.
“CM Khandu is putting special attention toward the Adi belt, which is pride for the Adi people of the state”, said the minister.
