Pasighat , May 23 : --Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Pasighat celebrated its 1st Foundation Day on Tuesday. The Pasighat campus is the first campus of RRU fostering training, research, education and extension in Security Education.RRU Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel who is also member of the UN International Law Commission and member of the National Security Advisory Board of India presented a special video message on the occasion highlighting the new courses introduced by the campus and threw lights how the police aspirants of the state and region could benefit from it. The distinguished guests from the state’s administration and district police’s administration who graced the event were Shri Advisor to Chief Minister Tai Tagak, DC Tayi Taggu,  SP Sumit Kumar Jha, member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (GoAP) Niri Congrowju, Commandant of 5th IRBN Aishwarya Sharma and many prominent personalities from the district administration and the state graced the occasion.Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu emphasised the aim and vision of RRU and motivated the budding students of the University who aspires to serve the state and nation in strengthening internal security. The students of RRU presented a beautiful display of the diverse tradition through their performances and the event was concluded after commending the toppers of the different courses, by the dignitaries.
