PASIGHAT, Nov 5: As part of Indian Army’s Vidyarthi Sashastkikaran Project to join students into Armed Forces, students of Class-V and their parents of 56-Infantry Division Spearhead Army Public School (SAPS), Likabali visited today Sainik School East Siang (SSES), Niglok to get the first-
hand experience of Sainik School. They had a tour around of the school classrooms, hostels, cadets’ mess, library, MI Room etc and were extended warm welcome by Squadron Leader Gaurav Sheoran, Administrative Officer of SSES while Senior Master Manoj Deka briefed them about the school through a power point presentation.
Principal, Commander Praveen Kumar Pola also interacted with the visitors and informed them in detail about the SSES and admission procedure. To study in Sainik Schools would be the right choice for students as well as parents desiring all-rounded development and progressive schooling, asserted Pricipal Pola adding that the
focus in the school was not only on academics but also on sports, physical fitness and scores of extra-curricular activities. During the interaction, Pola while highlighting the recent development informed that the school has created the
minimum high-quality infrastructure required for the academic and co-curricular development of the students. One of the goals of the institute was to create a pool of positively oriented citizens who take responsibility for national progress even while they are engaged with their
own personal development. The best team of teachers and mentors were available to the students and the academic standard of the institution was extremely high. Students were given required environment to successfully complete in national examinations, the Principal added.
